Since 2015, the Concordia Sailing Team has been racing in the Canadian Intercollegiate circuit against varsity level teams such as University of Toronto, Queen’s, and Dalhousie. We regularly qualify for the final national event. Each Fall, the team, consisting of 15 sailors, trains twice a week and competes in 7 to 12 regattas, from invitationals to regional and national level events.

Unlike some of the varsity level teams we compete against, we receive no funding from Concordia University. Every boat rental and regatta expense is covered by team fees paid by the sailors themselves, which limits how many events we can attend and how competitive we can be.

Your support helps to build our program and competitiveness, going directly towards boat rentals, regatta fees and coaching, so we can sail more and keep growing university sailing in Canada.
