My name is Weston, I am 17 years old from Calgary, Alberta. I began sailing at age seven through summer camps at the Glenmore Sailing School before joining the Glenmore Sailing Club race team at the age of 12. At 15, I partially moved to the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club to pursue higher level training and competition. Throughout my journey I have been competing in the ILCA 6 until December of 2025 when I transitioned into the ILCA 7.

I am proud to represent Alberta on and off the water. I have had the privilege of training and competing in places such as California and Florida in the Midwinters series as well all over Canada where I have competed in the Canada Games, CORK OCR and ILCA Youth Nationals. I have also been lucky enough to train in Europe and Mexico. I’m excited to continue to develop as a sailor, work hard and gain experience racing at the highest level I can.
