LOOKING AHEAD TO LA 2028
A Personal Welcome

I’m grateful that you’ve taken the time to learn more about my journey toward the 2028 Olympic Games. This page is where many of my closest supporters come to contribute, but it’s also the place where new visitors may discover my story - so I want to share it with you from the beginning.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
A Life Shaped by Wind and Water

I grew up on the shores of Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay, where my parents say I wore a life jacket before I wore shoes. Sailing has been part of my life since my earliest memories. From my first lessons in Collingwood to racing with the Bronte Harbour team to joining the Ontario Sailing Team and eventually the Canadian Sailing Team, this sport has shaped who I am.

My home club, Port Credit Yacht Club, has supported my journey in meaningful ways over the past few years. Their contributions through the Corinthian Fund have helped me take part in important training and competition opportunities, and I’m thankful for their continued encouragement.

THE BOAT I SAIL
Canada's Olympic Dinghy - The ILCA 7

Today, I compete in the ILCA 7, the men’s Olympic single-handed dinghy. Known for its simplicity and demanding athleticism, it’s a Canadian-designed class sailed by some of the best athletes in the world. It requires precision, fitness, strategy, resilience - and a deep love for the challenge. It has become the place where I feel most myself.

THE GOAL
Representing Canada at the 2028 Olympic Games

My goal is clear: to represent Canada at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Achieving this means dedicating myself fully to the next three years of training, competition, and preparation. I will spend hundreds of days on the water, travel across continents to train with world-class fleets, and invest thousands of hours in the gym and in skill development.

THE REALITY OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE SPORT
A Significant Annual Investment

Competing at this level brings meaningful financial demands. Travel, coaching, boat chartering, equipment, training blocks, regatta fees, and logistics all add up to a substantial yearly investment. While I receive support from national sport programs, these funds cover only part of what’s required to train and race internationally at an elite level.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
You Are the Difference

This is why your support matters so deeply. Your contribution - of any size - helps bridge the gap between what is funded and what is required. It allows me to line up against the world’s best sailors, gain critical experience at top events, and continue progressing toward qualifying Canada for the Olympic Games.

JOIN THE JOURNEY
Together, We Can Make This Dream a Reality

When you donate, you’re not just funding my training. You’re investing in Canadian excellence, in the belief that hard work and dedication can carry an athlete from local lakes to the world stage. You become part of the team that gets me to Los Angeles.

Thank you for your generosity, your belief, and your time.
Together, we can make this Olympic dream a reality.
