Some dreams never really leave you.
As a five-time Olympian, I’ve spent much of my life representing Canada on the world’s biggest stage. After an extensive Olympic career, I never expected to be pursuing another international campaign—but the challenge of iQFOiL racing has brought me back with one goal: earning Canada’s place at the 2027 Pan American Games.
This journey looks different than it once did. Today, I balance full-time work as an executive and high-performance coach with the demands of training and occasional competition, which I now need to ramp up.
In 2024, within just one month of stepping into the iQFOiL class, I emerged as the top Canadian at the World Championships and led the Canadian fleet into the Olympic qualification period. Although I held that position throughout the campaign, Canada did not ultimately secure a nation quota spot for Paris. The experience confirmed both the speed of my progression in the class and my continued ability to compete at the highest level.
Now my focus is on the Pan American Games qualifier in Brazil in January, where I will compete for Canada’s entry spot for the 2027 Games.
International racing comes with significant costs—travel, equipment, coaching, and regatta fees. Unlike fully funded programs, this campaign is self-supported, and every contribution directly enables me to train, travel, and compete against the best athletes in the Americas.
Thank you for believing in this journey. Every contribution, large or small, brings me one step closer to wearing the Maple Leaf on the international stage again.
Support the campaign
If you’d like to be part of this journey, your support makes a direct difference. Contributions help cover the essential costs of competing internationally and give me the opportunity to represent Canada once again on the Pan Am stage.
