Hi, I’m Carlos. Thank you for visiting my page.
I truly appreciate you taking the time to learn about my sailing journey.
I'm an 19-year-old ILCA sailor from Montréal, proud to represent Canada, and an engineering student at McGill and CentraleSupélec, balancing the boat and the books.
My love for high winds and speed has always pushed me to challenge my limits. In 2024 I achieved my biggest dream yet, becoming the ILCA 4 Youth World Champion. A year later I lined up against the world's best at the 2025 ILCA 6 Men's World Championship in Kiel and finished 7th of 124, a result that showed me I can race at that level.
Now the real work begins. My goal is to represent Canada at the Olympic Games, with 2028 and 2032 on the horizon. That means more than 150 days a year on the water, a daily fitness program, and using data to get a little better every day, because every day is a chance to improve.
None of this is possible alone. Behind every race are my family, my coach, my teammates, sponsors, and donors like you. Your support is what keeps me on the water and moving toward that dream.
Thank you for being part of my adventure.
