We are a Victoria BC based team and currently sailing 29er with plans to race the 49erFX in the future. We have been sailing together for almost 4 years and have been committed to racing the 29er ever since the fall of 2019. During Covid we added many more training days in the boat which skyrocketed our progress. Our first big event was the 2021 Youth Nationals in Kingston where we won Top 29er, Top Overall Skiff and Top Female Team.
Our win in Kingston qualified us for the 2021 Youth Worlds held in Oman later that year. In preparation for Youth worlds we attended 29er Europeans in Riva Del Garda, Italy. We improved many aspects of our sailing at both Youth Worlds and Europeans which made us eager to attend more international events in the future. This summer we will be representing Canada at 29er Worlds in Spain and BC at Canada Games in Niagara. Then we will be switching to the the 49erFX for next year. Your support will help us pay for flights, accommodation, sails, coaching and many other costs that go into high performance sailing.
