An overview of some of the many programs that Wind Athletes supports in Canada.
Olympic Classes
Wind Athletes is currently helping Canadian sailors prepare for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The sailing events will be held about three hours away on the coast in Weymouth.
Elliott 6m Program
Wind Athletes is helping the Canadian Sailing Team by providing new training boats as part of the Elliott 6 Meter Program.
Open 60 Program
The Open 60 Class is another pinnacle of the sport of sailing. These boats are designed to push the envelope for man and machine.
Other Programs
Wind Athletes Canada has provided financial support to other programs including Queen’s Sailing Team's campaign to participate in the 2010 Student Yachting World Cup, Canadian InterCollegiate Sailing Association and the Optimist North American Championships.
